Phase 1 – Needs Analysis
The process of creating a plating system inevitably begins with a series of meetings with the client to explore every detail of their production needs.
The preliminary analysis is the first step we take to fully understand the client’s requirements and design a customized system. It’s not just about gathering technical information; it’s a real moment of dialogue, during which we evaluate all relevant aspects of the design together with the client, from production efficiency to costs, from environmental sustainability to logistics.
The starting point of the analysis is the product that will be processed in the plating system, its characteristics, and the details of the finishes that need to be applied. In this phase, we analyze the products that will be treated in the system, the types of materials and finishes required, but also the expected production volumes and the specific requirements of the reference sector. Whether the client operates in the automotive, electronics, or other industries, we ensure that we have a complete picture before starting the design process.

Logistics is crucial to the success of any industrial project. For this reason, we assess the available spaces at the client’s site, evaluate how the system will be positioned, and ensure that access for loading and unloading materials is smooth and that maintenance activities can be carried out easily and safely. In this phase, we also consider safety and environmental regulations to ensure the system complies with the rules and operates in total safety.

We are committed to designing systems that meet the highest standards of sustainability and safety. We collaborate with the client to develop solutions with minimal environmental impact, such as water recycling systems and emission reduction technologies, while ensuring a safe and risk-free working environment.
After analyzing all the data, we provide a detailed estimate of costs and construction timeframes. We not only consider design and construction expenses but also take into account long-term operational costs, such as energy consumption and maintenance, to give the client a comprehensive view of the investment. A key aspect of operating cost analysis is the long lifespan of OMIG systems and the often-overlooked variable of machine downtimes, leading to lost production: we are committed to ensuring the business continuity of our clients by providing timely support and assisting them with regular maintenance, which is essential for the proper and long-lasting operation of the system.

Thanks to this preliminary process, we can ensure that the designed system is exactly what the client needs. This approach allows us to promptly address any critical issues, ensuring the final result is an efficient and high-performing system.

The preliminary analysis is not just a technical step but a crucial moment to build a strong partnership with the client.
It is thanks to this phase that we can design customized plating systems capable of meeting the client’s production challenges while ensuring sustainability and efficiency. Our goal is always the same: to create systems that contribute to the success of the companies we work with.
